R/C Adventures

Each Wednesday, middle schoolers come to Phillips Academy to learn how to fly remote control airplanes and sometimes helicopters, a skill that they most likely would not experience otherwise. Through simulation and hands on experience they learn basic flight dynamics, the mechanics of radio technology, and how to have fun with miniature planes! R/C planes, to me, have always been a way to let loose, have fun, express myself, and learn a little, and R/C Adventures is all about allowing kids to reap the same benefits.
