“Cultivating Access to Medicine, Biotech, and Integrated Opportunities”

YDO is one of ten Lawrence nonprofits working as a collaborative with Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital and Greater Lawrence Family Health Center to receive a grant from the Atrius Health Equity Foundation in 2024. The grant, a $5M investment over 5 years, aims to improve health outcomes in Lawrence by centering the needs and leadership abilities of local youth.

YDO’s contribution to this project is Cambio Scholars, a new component of our Advisory programming led by Alethea Raybeck, senior director of college & career planning. Work with an initial cohort of 35 high school & college students interested in healthcare careers has begun. They are already proving to be an impressive group, so stay tuned!
